Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the hysteresis characteristics of a stepping motor by forming a demagnetizing colsed circuit having coils and capacitors, thereby erasing the residual magnetism. CONSTITUTION:A pulse for driving a motor by 1-2-1 phase excitation system is fed to respective switch circuits S1-S4 by the phase controller 3 of a stepping motor. A first capacitor C1 removes the residual magnetism of a stator by the fact that a vibrating current flows in a closed circuit having a coil phi1, the capacitor C1, and a coil phi3 for the prescribed period to next period when the exciting current of the coil phi1 or phi3 is interrupted. A second capacitor C2 eliminates the residual magnetism of the stator by the fact that a vibrating current is flowed in a closed circuit having a coil phi2, the capacitor C2 and a coil phi4 in the prescribed range before next ON period when the exciting current of the coil phi2 or phi4 is interrupted.
