Abstract:

To solve such problems that power consumption and heat generation of a motor are increased according as a holding current is applied.

A stepping motor drive system 60 is provided with a stepping motor 20 rotated by the prescribed angle in accordance with a drive pulse signal, a vibration detector 40 detecting vibration and outputting a vibration signal, and a stepping motor control part 30 rotating the stepping motor 20 by the prescribed angle by controlling the driving current made to flow through the stepping motor. The drive pulse signal is constituted of a start current Ia required for rotating the stepping motor 20 by a unit angle and a holding current Ib holding a rotation angle of the stepping motor 20 rotated by the start current Ia.The stepping motor control part 20 varies a level of the holding current Ib in accordance with the vibration signal detected by the vibration detector 40.
