To obtain a stepping motor in which a larger coil volume can be secured without changing the overall size, and excellent assemblability of an air core coil to a yoke is attained while eliminating the need for insulation treatment of the yoke, and overall size of the motor including the stretching terminal can be reduced without lowering the work efficiency in the assembling work.
Each of the first and second stators 4 and 5 has an annular air core coil 15, an outer yoke 16 containing the air core coil and having a plurality of pole teeth 16a formed at a fixed interval in the circumferential direction of the air core coil, an inner yoke 17 having a plurality of pole teeth 17a formed at a fixed interval in the circumferential direction of the air core coil, and a termination member 18 fixed to the air core coil and connected with the terminal of winding extending from the air core coil. The termination member is constituted by forming a conductive portion 19 for electrically connecting the terminal of a winding extending from the air core coil with an external circuit on an electrically insulating flexible base board.
