To provide a PM type stepping motor of low vibration.
A stepping motor 10 includes a rotor part 11 which has a magnet 12 and is arranged rotatably around an axis, and a stator part 21 in which two sets of stators 22A and 22B are arranged along the axial direction on the outer peripheral side of the magnet 12. Each of the stators 22A and 22B has a pair of yokes 23 and 28 having a plurality of pole teeth 25 and 30 rising from inner peripheral edges 24a and 29a of annular support parts 24 and 29 arranged in such a manner that the poke teeth 25 and 30 are provided alternately in circumferential direction. Each of the plurality of pole teeth 25 and 30 has a pair of side end faces 25a and 30a at the end edge which are symmetrical along the circumferential direction, while being inclined further toward the center of symmetry as advances to the tip end side. A gap G between the side end faces 25a and 30a of adjoining pole teeth 25 and 30 is so small as to be almost 0.2 times the thickness of the pole teeth 25 and 30.
