Abstract:

To provide a stepping motor capable of detecting a rotation direction in addition to a rotation angle or a rotation speed of a motor in simple configuration.SOLUTION: A stepping motor 1 comprises: a rotary shaft 21; a rotor 60 which is fixed to the rotary shaft 21 and in which N poles and S poles are alternately magnetized; a coil 63A to which a positive/negative voltage is applied in a first phase; a coil 63B to which a positive/negative voltage is applied in a second phase; magnetic pole teeth 68A and 70A which are excited by applying a voltage to the coil 63A; magnetic pole teeth 68B and 70B which are excited by applying a voltage to the coil 63B; a rotary plate 40 which is fixed to the rotary shaft 21; and detection sensors 32A and 32B capable of detecting blades 42 of the rotary plate 40. The magnetic pole teeth 68A, 68B, 70A and 70B are alternately disposed around the rotor 60. The detection sensors 32A and 32B are disposed at a predetermined interval therebetween in a circumferential direction in such a manner that detection signals of the blades 42 of the rotary plate 40 are outputted in the first phase and the second phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
