Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the stopping accuracy of an actuator, to reduce the size and to enhance the efficiency of the actuator by using an accurate position detection sensor which outputs two detection signals of different phases. CONSTITUTION:A stepwise feeding actuator has a stationary unit 1, a movable unit 2, a position sensor 3 opposed to the unit 2, and a signal processor 6 obtains inverted phase signals of output signals A, B. A current instructing circuit 5' sequentially selects one of signals from the processor 6 on the basis of step feed command pulse train thetap and moving direction command thetar from a command generator 6 to form a current command signal iC. The winding current of the unit 2 or 2 is controlled through a current controller 4 by the signal iC. A gain controller 8 measures the time interval of each pulse of the pulse train thetap, compares it with a reference time and sets the gain of the circuit 5'.
