To provide a stereo camera device reducing deviation of an optical axis due to a temperature change and improving the distance measurement accuracy.
A stereo camera device includes: a first imaging part; a second imaging part; a housing part disposed between the first imaging part and the second imaging part; and a connecting part having a plurality of reference holes, which is provided on the central part of the housing part to mount the housing part to a vehicle. The housing part has two wall surfaces and one bottom surface. When the thickness of the wall surface on the imaging direction side of the housing part is T1, the thickness of the wall surface on the opposite side to the imaging direction of the housing part is T2, a distance between a reference line parallel to the optical axes of the first imaging part and the second imaging part and also passing the reference hole at the closest imaging direction side of the first imaging part and a perpendicular from the reference line to the optical axis is A1, and a distance between a reference line parallel to the optical axes and also passing the reference hole on the opposite side to the closest imaging direction of the first imaging part is A2, T1:T2=A1:A2 is satisfied.
