Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo microphone which can be made compact, and having more flat frequency response characteristics.SOLUTION: A stereo microphone includes first and second microphone units 10L, 10R both having unit directivity, and a division plate 2 located between the first and second microphone units, and dividing the left and right sounds, and to which the first and second microphone units are attached coaxially back to back. The division plate is formed of a material transmitting sound wave and having an acoustic resistance in a flat shape. In the division plate, a first opening 2A interconnecting the back planes of the first and second microphone units is formed, and at positions of the first and second microphone units offset from the main axis X-X, a second opening 2B for interconnecting the first opening 2A and the outer space is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
