Title:
STEREO REINFORCING SYSTEM FOR CORRECTING DEPTH PERCEPTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2609065
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a wide stereo image in reproduction by connecting adjusted sum signal and difference signal with original right and left signals, and obtaining emphasized right and left stereo signals.
CONSTITUTION: Right and left input signals Rim and Lin from a stereo image reinforcing system are turned into a sum signal L+R and a difference signal L-R by a sum circuit 211 and a difference circuit 213. Those both signals are given equalizing characteristics by a fixed type sum signal equalizer 215 and a fixed type difference signal equalizer 221, and outputted through position switches 217 and 223 to a mixer 225. The signals to the mixer 225 are decided according to the type and position of an acoustic transducer used for the reproduction of a sound. The sum signal and the difference signal are mixed by the mixer 225, and the processed right and left signals are outputted. Then, the output of a depth perception system 210 of a sound is inputted to a pre- amplifier tape monitor loop or supplied to a standard power amplifier.
