To provide a stereoscopic display device capable of dissolving the problem of false stereoscopic images, accompanied by integral photography by devising the display device.

An original image, regarded as a false stereoscopic image in the integral photography, is projected on a pin hole plate having pinholes arranged side by side on the surface of the pinhole plate by the projector. Here, when the position of the pin hole plate is brought close to the projector by a prescribed distance from an imaging position, a person who observes an image through the pin hole plate can see a true stereoscopic image. Furthermore, when the pin hole plate is replaced by a slit plate, on which slits are arranged side by side, a stereoscopic image which reproduces parallax only in the horizontal direction can be displayed.
