Title:
STEREOSCOPIC TELEVISION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5592090
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain stereoscopic pickup images which are overlapped and are completed by one another, by acquiring an object from respective side faces by plural TV cameras and by scanning the side faces with electron beams by electron guns corresponding to these cameras.

CONSTITUTION: TV cameras 1 and 2 are arranged orthogonally to object 6 and at equal distance to object 6. Camera 1 corresponds to electron gun 4 of reproducing spherical tube 5 where fluorescent materials crashed to minute pieces or fluorescent gas is floated, and camera 2 corresponds to reproducing electron gun 3. Cameras 1 and 2 acquire object 6 from side faces, and respective side faces are scanned and reproduced with electron beams by respectively corresponding electron guns 3 and 4. Thus, respective information are completed by each other to cause the outline of object 6 to appear stereoscopically in their cross part. In this case, luminescence of the space part dependent upon electron scanning at a reproducing time can be restrained by placing object 9 such as a black curtain in back of object 6.
