Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a stereoscopic video display device by a stereoscopic image display which can be observed by many people at the same time without using special spectacles.
SOLUTION: A large-sized convex lens La is arranged so as to output a stereoscopic video, and behind the lens LA, a monochromatic television D is arranged at, or near a position where an observer O's face image is substantially formed, and a video camera is arranged so that the video of the observer O may be inputted through the large-sized convex lens La, besides, a color liquid crystal panel J capable of displaying the stereoscopic image to be observed by the observer O in a time-division manner is arranged between the observer O and the monochromatic television D.
