PURPOSE: To obtain at a low cost stereoscopic video display device of a spectacles type by which a stereoscopic image can be enlarged and observed by using one liquid crystal panel (LCD).

CONSTITUTION: A the center in a device main body 2, a color liquid crystal 4 is provided. In this liquid crystal panel 4, a lenticular lens 5 for distributing an image to a pair of left and right reflecting mirrors 6, 6 is arranged roughly integrally. On both the left and the right sides in the device body 2, a pair of left and right reflecting mirrors 7, 7 for constituting a pair of left and right optical systems C, C, a pair of left and right prisms 8, 8, and a pair of left and right eyepieces 9, 9 are provided. In such a way, an enlarged impressive stereoscopic image is made in a visual field of both eyes.
