Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing a slurry of finely pulverized CaCO3 complex as a Ca source in minerals, having high emulsion stability, containing amino acids, peptides, dextrins, fats, etc., in stable state and having low osmotic pressure and low fat content.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains amino acids, lowmolecular peptides or their mixture, dextrins (preferably having a DE value of ≤25), fats, vitamins and minerals, wherein the Ca source in the mineral is a slurry of a finely pulverized CaCO3 complex. The slurry of finely pulverized CaCO3 complex is produced preferably by adding a hydrophilic emulsifier having an HLB of ≥10 to a slurry calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.04μm and irradiating the mixture with ultrasonic radiation. The fat content of the composition is preferably 2%(W/V). This composition is preferably produced by mixing the whole components in water, homogenizing with an emulsifier such as phospholipid and sterilizing the product.
