PURPOSE: To obtain a sterilized transintenstinal liquid nutrient composed of a kit of plural liquids combined in such a manner as to maintain the stability of the composition components and containing nitrogen source such as amino acids in combination with fat, sugars, etc., exhibiting excellent absorbability and useful for the preoperative and post-operative nutrient management.
CONSTITUTION: Components degrading the quality in a state contacting with each other are dividedly dissolved to form individual solutions in order to stably keep the quality of a transintestinal nutrient containing the compositional components in liquid state during the sterilization treatment and preservation. The obtained solutions are sterilized to prepare plural solutions. Since amino acid and low-molecular peptide used as an nitrogen source cause browning phenomenon in the presence of sugars, the nitrogen source is separated from the sugars. A solution containing sugars is compounded with fat and emulsified. Minerals and vitamin C are added to a solution containing nitrogen. On the other hand, vitamin A is separated from vitamin B1 and the vitamins are added to said emulsified liquid to prepare two kinds of solutions. The agent does not cause the problem such as clogging of catheter with insoluble matters appearing in powdery transintestinal nutrient.
