To provide a sterilizer and a milling sterilizer capable of milling and sterilizing an object to be sterilized efficiently.
The sterilizer comprises a storage vessel 14 that defines a storage space for receiving the object to be sterilized and an agitating means for agitating the object to be sterilized received within the storage vessel 14. The sterilizer is characterized by that the object is charged by the friction or the like caused by agitation by the agitating means and is sterilized using the charge. When the object is to be charged, the storage vessel 14 is agitated in an ungrounding state, and when the charge of the object is to be discharged, the storage vessel 14 is grounded. In such a configuration, an electric current flows suddenly through the object when the object is being charged and a high sterilizing effect is thereby obtained. In addition, ball-like members 62 may be put in the storage vessel 14 along with the object to be sterilized. When the ball-like members and the object are agitated together, the object is milled and charged by the friction, collision or the like with the ball-like members 62 and is sterilized.
