To provide a sterilizing cleanser which has an excellent sterilizing power against food-poisoning bacteria, has low toxicity, does not contain heavy metals and halogen atoms affecting human bodies, does not cause the trouble of odor, and is used for washing table wares, and so on.
This sterilizing cleanser characterized by containing a polyhexamethylene guanidine salt antibacterial agent represented by the chemical formula 1 [(n) is an integer of 1 to 100; A is nitric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid, dehydroacetic acid, propionic acid, gluconic acid, sorbic acid, phosphoric acid, fumaric acid, maleic acid, carbonic acid, sulfuric acid or paratoluene sulfonic acid] in an amount of 0.5 to 20 wt.%. The septic cleanser may further preferably contain a natural alcohol-based nonionic acid surfactant, a fatty acid alkylolamide ethylene oxide adduct, and an enzyme in amounts of ≥1 wt.%, respectively. The septic cleanser is diluted with water or warm water into the about 0.5 to 1.0% solution and then used to wash tablewares and so on.
