Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new borazine compound having a steroid skeleton, and to provide a method for efficiently producing the borazine compound.
SOLUTION: This borazine compound is represented by general formula (I) {R1 is an alkyl or aralkyl group; R2 is a group of general formula II (R3 and R4 are same or different and each hydrogen or an alkyl group; R5 is an alkyl or alkenyl group which may contain a branched structure; and one or two single bonds in a 6- or 5-membered ring constituting a steroid skeleton may be substituted with double bonds)). The method for producing the borazine compound comprises subjecting B,B,B-trihalogenoborazine of general formula (III) (R1 is same as the above) to Grignard reaction with a steroid compound of general formula IV: R2-Y (Y is a halogen; and R2 is same as the above) having the halogen at the 3-position.
