To provide a stick holding device being easily attachable to a wheelchair without performing any work for the wheelchair.

A stick holding device 1 according to the present invention includes a bottomed cylindrical stick case 2 for storing a stick, and first and second support members 3 and 4 for supporting the stick case 2. The first support member 3 includes rings 7 and 8 into which the stick case 2 is inserted and supported, the rings being attached at an upper part and a lower part, respectively, of the member extending in the vertical direction. The second support member 4 is fixed to the first support member 3 and includes a pair of fastening tools 5 and 6 that are attached to a back face side at both ends of the member extending horizontally and hold the upper part of a backrest of the wheel chair, with it clamping thereof.
