Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod material processing method for processing in a sufficient finished shape by a comparatively simple process.SOLUTION: A rod material processing method comprises a process of applying slit processing to a rod material 10 of a quadrangular shape in a cross-sectional shape and a process of pressing a corner part molded in the rod material 10 by the slit processing, and the process of applying the slit processing molds a constricted part 12 having a curved surface of a predetermined radius of curvature along the extension direction of the rod material 10 in a part of the rod material 10 abutting on a press die 20 of a press machine by pressing a predetermined range in the extension direction of the rod material 10 by the press machine, and the process of pressing the corner part presses so as to crush an edge corner part caused along the extension direction of the rod material 10 in the predetermined range of the rod material 10 pressed in the process of applying the slit processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
