PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a device and the space occupied by the device by enabling action of a shutter for preventing inadvertent discharge of parts from a part supply part with a single actuator for giving a sliding action to a stick case.

CONSTITUTION: This stick transfer device is provided with an actuator 16 for giving a sliding action to a stick case 20 slidably provided at a body frame 10 and an opening 34 formed at the body frame communicated with one of sticks 22 set in the stick case 20 in a part supply part 22 for feeding a part 24 in it to a predetermined position. A shutter 36 is also provided so that it operates to open the opening when this stick case slides from a transfer start position to a transfer end position interlocking with the sliding action of the stick case, while it operates to close the opening when the stick case slides from the transfer end position to the transfer start position.
