Abstract:
To provide a method of imaging amyloid deposits, labeled compounds, and methods of making labeled compounds useful in imaging amyloid deposits.
This invention relates to the method of imaging amyloid deposits and to labeled compounds, and methods of making labeled compounds useful in imaging amyloid deposits. The invention also relates to the compounds, and methods of making the compounds for inhibiting the aggregation of amyloid proteins to form amyloid deposits, and a method of delivering a therapeutic agent to the amyloid deposits. The invention also provides a diagnostic composition comprising a radiolabeled compound of formula I, II, III, IV or V (not shown) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent.
