PURPOSE: To prevent picture quality from deteriorating by providing a control circuit which switches color filters in synchronism with the output of respective color component signals to a monitor and a means which prints an image of the monitor on an instant color film through the color filters.
CONSTITUTION: An RGB output circuit 30 outputs a synchronizing signal C-Sync and primary color signals R, G, and B; and the synchronizing signal C-Sync is inputted directly to the black-and-white television monitor 31 and the respective signals of R, G, and B are inputted to the black-and-white television monitor 31 through a changeover switch 32, so that a still picture is displayed on the black-and-white television monitor 31. Then while the color television monitor 37 is monitored, a still picture to be printed is selected and the shutter of a photographic camera 34 is released when the desired still picture is projected on the monitor 37, so that the still picture is printed on the instant color film 37. Namely, a video signal is processed as it is an analog signal and recorded on a magnetic disk 21, and the signal is reproduced and printed. Consequently, there is no deterioration in gradations and the picture quality is prevented from deteriorating.
