PURPOSE: To improve operability and workability in the case of successively recording the still pictures of a recorded sheet such as a photographed positive film into a storage medium.

CONSTITUTION: A deck 3 for recording is set in a recording mode, and a pause state is kept. The recorded sheet is placed on a part 1d of a camera 1 for recording and when a start button 2e of a supporting device 2 is depressed, the pause state is canceled by emitting infrared rays from a light emitting means 2b. On the other hand, a timer 2c is operated simultaneously with the emission of the light emitting means 2b and the light emitting means 2b emits light again after the elapse of a prescribed time so that the deck 3 for recording can be returned to the pause state.
