PURPOSE: To control the fetch of a picture and transmission with a switch circuit in the inside of a camera section by providing a circuit discriminating a superimposing signal from a mixer circuit connected to a main body, sending the picture signal to a camera input storage section and sending a control signal to a common control section.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch 13 in a camera section 10 is operated, a picture fetch control signal is generated and superimposed on a picture signal from a camera main body 11 and sent to a discrimination circuit 15 through a cable. The discrimination circuit 15 sends a picture signal to the camera input memory 2 from the superimposing signal and sends a picture fetch control signal to a common control section 6 and they are stored in the camera input memory 2. When a switch 14 is operated, a readout transmission control signal is generated and superimposed on the picture signal at a mixer circuit 12 and the discrimination circuit 15 sends the readout transmission control signal to the common control section 6. The common control section 6 reads the still picture data stored in the memory 2 and sends it to a communication circuit from a transmission control section 8. Thus, the switches 13, 14 in the camera section 10 control the picture fetch and transmission.
