Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in reading a stimulable plate.SOLUTION: A stimulable plate reading device includes: at least one stimulable plate 12 that holds image data and has two surfaces on the opposite sides to each other; irradiation means 20 for uniformly irradiate a first surface of the two surfaces on the opposite sides to each other of the at least one stimulable plate with light emitted within a first wavelength range, and causing the at least one stimulable plate 12 to perform, through the irradiation, both emission of light within a second wavelength range and scattering of the light within a first wavelength range by stimulable light emission; a filter 22 that does not transmit the light scattered in the first wavelength and can transmit the light emitted within a second wavelength range, and faces a second surface of the two surfaces on the opposite sides to each other of the at least one stimulable plate 12; and a detector 24 that is constituted of a two-dimensional array of pixels that detects the transmitted light and acquires image data from the light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
