PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling refrigerator capable of increasing a cooling power by increasing a heat exhaust efficiency of an electromagnetic reciprocating drive mechanism.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a Stirling refrigerator comprising a casing 1 having a cylindrical part 2 and a barrel part 3, a cylinder 7 stored in this casing 1 and having a mount 27 made of well heat conducting metal, a piston 15 and a displacer 8 that are stored in this cylinder 7 in a reciprocatable manner, a fixture member 24 of an electromagnetic reciprocating drive mechanism 16 held at the mount 27 and positioned in the barrel 3 and a movable element 17 of the electromagnetic reciprocating drive mechanism 16 connected to the piston 15. A part of the casing 1 is applied as a heat conducting block 4 made of well heat conducting metal, the heat conducting block 4 and the mount 27 are thermally contacted to each other to enable heat generated at a compression chamber C and the electromagnetic reciprocating drive mechanism 16 to be efficiently discharged out of the casing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
