Abstract:
To solve a problem of low efficiency in mechanical motion to drive a power piston.
In this stirling engine having a displacer 11 for moving a gas filled in a housing 14 between a high temperature-side part and a low temperature-side part in the housing 14 having the high temperature-side part and the low temperature-side part, the housing 14 is provided with an approximately circular cylindrical space, the displacer 11 is formed by a half-moon rotor 11b or a disc body 11 capable of rotating in the space, and the gas in the housing is exposed to the high temperature-side part and the low temperature-side part by the rotation of the displacer 11, whereby the change of pressure is generated in accompany with the change of a temperature.
