Abstract:

To provide a Stirling engine that is made to be assembled and disassembled easily by making the insertion and removal of a displacer easier by securing a gas flow passage communicating with a working space at the time of assembling or disassembling this engine.

This Stirling engine is constituted by arranging a piston 2 and a displacer 3 on the center axis of a cylinder 1 so that the working space 7 may be formed in the cylinder 1 and enclosing a working medium in the space 7. In this Stirling engine, the gas flow passage 14 provided in the cylinder 1 and communicating the outside of the space 7 with the inside of the space 7 and an opening/closing means 15 which can open and close the flow passage 14 are provided.
