To provide a stirrer which enables crushing and mixing hard and large food materials.
This stirrer is constituted of a main body part and a lower part contact member and, further, the main body part is provided with a stirring blade, a material holding member and a cover member. The stirrer sends the stirring blade downward while rotating the same and completes the stirring until the stirring blade reaches the prescribed position such as the bottom of a paper cup. Further, on the step 2, current values of a motor for stirring and a motor for vertical moving are always monitored, if the current value of either of motors exceeds a predetermined value, the shift to the step 6 occurs, the motor for vertical moving is reversed and the stirring blade is liberated.
