To provide a stirring blade which moves the most part of solid particles in an axial flow pattern and efficiently floats the particles in a solid-liquid stirring vessel.

The stirring blade has the following characteristics: a bottom paddle blade 2 is attached to the lowest part of a stirrer shaft 1; at least one upper paddle blade 3 is attached to the upper part of the shaft 1; the smallest distance in the vertical direction between an arbitrary point on the lower edge 4 of the bottom paddle blade 2 and the vessel bottom 6 is almost constant; and the shape of the bottom paddle 2 is such that its upper edge 7 is declined from its side of the stirrer shaft 1 toward the side of the vessel.
