A drum unit 5 having a stirring tank 23 is set vertically movably by a moving mechanism provided on a support 3. After a stirring object material is charged in the stirring tank 23 at a lower given position (charge position), the drum unit 5 is elevated by a given distance and the stirring work is performed in a state where the stirring tank 23 is tilted to direct an opening 21 thereof upward from the level. After stirring, the drum unit 5 is further elevated. The drum unit 5 is set to automatically direct downward by the moving mechanism as shown by a chain line at an upper given position (discharge position).
