Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modeling method of a server load capable of constructing a more efficient energy saving system with excellent predicting accuracy by modeling a difference in the load characteristic of an individual server computer, a change in a load caused by time and a difference in the server load caused by a spatial position in a server room in a prediction model related to the load of the server computer or the traffic of the Internet.SOLUTION: Server load amounts acquired from a plurality of server computers 10-1 to 10-X in a server room 500 are stochastically estimated by a hierarchical Bayesian method and a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method to stochastically model the contribution of each of the server computers 10-1 to 10-X in the server room 500 to a server load.
