Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a cleaning process step by a detergent and a drying process step by vacuum heating are heretofore necessary and a higher cost of equipment and running cost are needed in preventing the pore defects which occur when a casting material is subjected to laser clad processing.
SOLUTION: A stock W for laser clad processing which is confined in the stock porosity of a section to be worked which is affected by heat in the laser clad processing and the heat affected zone Q near the same to ≤0.12% is used for the metallic stock which is molded by casting and is subjected to the laser clad processing in the section to be worked, by which the gas, cutting fluid in machining, etc., in the stock are substantially prevented from remaining and the pore defect arising in the laser clad processing is prevented even if the stock is not subjected to the cleaning process step and drying process step.
