PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock warning system and a stock warning program, capable of issuing a warning according to a decrease in the real number of stocks.SOLUTION: A stock warning system stores the number of stocks for a plurality of commodities. The stock warning system acquires sales data including sales quantity and calculates the number of stocks after sales on the basis of the sales quantity. The stock warning system determines whether a stock warning should be output for a commodity on the basis of the number of stocks after the sales. When it should be output, the system outputs a stock warning.
