To prevent water or oil from leaking from cracks occurring in rising portions around a dish when stone dish for an electromagnetic cooker is used repeatedly.

When the stone dish 1 for an electromagnetic cooker having a carbon plate fastened to the bottom is heated, its bottom portion expands and causes cracks in the stone at the peripheral rising portions and the bottom. The cracks expand and leak water or oil when heating is continued. To prevent a water leakage or oil leakage, preventing the cracks occurring in the periphery from expanding is only required. The measure is to provide reinforced portions by winding small wires whose thermal expansion is small or nonmetallic fibers at the peripheral part. Furthermore, the reinforced portions are provided with flexible coating layers 5 on the outside. The coating layer may be reinforced by being mixed with a fiber or a nonwoven fabric. Thus the cracks are prevented from expanding to reduce water leakage or oil leakage to an extent that the leakage will not hinder its practical use. A skin layer may be provided on the coating layers.
