To provide a door for a stone lantern capable of selectively performing "left opening" and "right opening" of a door body, while reliably preventing the loss and damage of the door body; and to provide the stone lantern.

An upper link member 131 is rotatably journaled in its one end around a rotary shaft RA1 to an upper rotary support part 43, and is rotatably journaled in its other end around a rotary shaft RA2 to a rotary support part 124 installed on the upper end of a left side end part 12L of the door body 12. Another one lower link member 132 is also constituted similarly to the upper link member 131. Thus, the door body 12 is always connected to a fixing part 11 via a connecting part 13, and the door body 12 can be rotated to "left opening" and "right opening" or can be performed as "the whole opening" while maintaining its connecting state.
