PURPOSE: To provide a stone polisher whereby even a stone of intermediate and small size can be polished efficiently in a good quality.
CONSTITUTION: A belt conveyer 1, which horizontally conveys a workpiece (w), is formed also to provide a plurality of polishing spindles, horizontally orthogonal to a workpiece conveying direction f1, arranged along this conveying direction in a side part of a conveying route of this conveyer, and to horizontally form an elliptic guide track (k) along a vertical surface of the workpiece conveying direction in the upward of the belt conveyer. Further in addition to providing endless chains 10a, 10b which are moved to be associated with the belt conveyer along this track, a workpiece clamping extension/contraction operated pressing unit 12, which is fixed to each suitably spaced position of this chain to be supported the track to be made deflection deformable in the workpiece conveying direction, is provided.
