Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent pollution, deterioration, and discolouration by microorganisms, rusting, and others by adding antibacterial and rust-preventing agents composed of specific substances to a synthetic resin constituting a stool.
CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial and rust-preventing agent composed of one or more antibacterial ion sources selected from Ag, Cu, Zn, and the compounds of these, one or more supports selected from calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and ceramics for the antibacterial ion sources, and a three- dimensional structure(tetrapod-type single crystal) zinc oxide whisker is mixed with a synthetic resin such as polypropylene. The synthetic resin mixture is molded into stool seat, water-jet nozzle 4, and so forth. In this case, the weight of the whisker is 102 at least, and the weight ratio upper limit of the antibacterial ion sources is controlled to be 1%. The pollution, deterioration, and discoloration of the stool by bacteria, fungi, rusting, and algae can thus be prevented.
