Abstract:
To provide a technique by which a vehicle can be guided to a prescribed stop position.SOLUTION: A stopping assist apparatus 200 comprises: a tire detection device 5 which is provided on a ground surface G, has plural photoelectronic sensors C1, C2 which are arranged along a vehicle length direction of a vehicle AM, and detects a tire of the vehicle AM; and an entry side sensor 19 which is provided at a place which is hard to get dirty with respect to the ground surface G on which the tire detection device 5 is provided, and detects a vehicle body of the vehicle AM. A guide is displayed to a driver on the basis of a detection result by any one of the photoelectronic sensors C1, C2 and a detection result of the entry side sensor 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
