Abstract:
To provide a stop device for an engine improved to properly perform a driving operation of an operation arm by a stop solenoid even in occurrence of dimensional error and assembling error of components while applying a structure to drive and operate the journaled operation arm by the stop solenoid, and capable of being assembled regardless of worker's skill.SOLUTION: In a stop device for an engine, an operation shaft 1 interlocked and linked with a control rack of a fuel injection pump is rotatably penetrated through and supported by an engine case k, and a stop solenoid 4 is made to act on an operation arm 2 integrally rotatably disposed on a projecting portion of the operation shaft 1 to thereby make the control rack forcibly act at a stop position. An advancing/retracting rod 5 of the stop solenoid 4 and a hook portion 16 of the operation arm 2 are interlocked through a link member 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
