PURPOSE: To provide a stop valve for high pressure fluid with screw tightened valve element which can prevent looseness from occurring even if it is used in a high pressure fluid with pressure variation.
CONSTITUTION: A stop valve is provided with a valve element screwed onto a rod and a valve seat, the valve seat is located between a low pressure path and a high pressure path, the valve element is located on a high pressure path side, and used in a high pressure fluid with pressure variation. Also the rod is provided with a male screw part 44 to which the valve element is screwed, and the valve element is provided with a female screw part 45 into which the male screw part 45 is screwed. The male screw part 45 is provided with a sharp top roll form on its crest part 440, and the surface of the screw thread 449 is provided with multiple dimples and rough. Then, in a clearance between the male screw part 44 and the female screw part 45, adhesive agent 7 is filled and cured.
