PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device and to improve the forming efficiency by providing a receiving die forming a down slope lead supporting face and work engaging groove and arranging a lead forming mechanism interlocking with the rotary movement of a stopper arm.

CONSTITUTION: A lead supporting face 2 inclining with down slope to the upper part of a receiving die 1 and a work engaging groove 3 in the length direction are respectively formed. A stopper arm 4 supporting the center part by a pin 5 rotatably is provided and a lead forming mechanism 10 combining forming arms 11, 11 in X shape is arranged as well. A work W supported by the lead supporting face 2 of the receiving die 1 is located by the arm 4 and the positioning, forming and ejection of the work W are effected with the stopper arm 4 and forming mechanism 10 being interlocked by the retreat and advance of a piston rod 14. The device is miniaturized because a piece of cylinder will do and the efficiency in forming is improved with the simplification of operation.
