To provide a stopper mechanism capable of retaining a movement restriction object that continuously displaces in a stepless manner to an arbitrary displacement position.
An inner case 33 that slidably guides a check shaft 21 is provided with a rotary shaft 40 set apart from the check shaft 21. The rotary shaft 40 is provided with two weights 43, 44 via two arm members 41, 42. A compression coil spring 45 is disposed between the two arm members 41, 42 so as to be connected therebetween. The resultant elastic force constantly rotatably urges the two weights 43, 44 toward the direction to be close with each other with respect to the rotary shaft 40 as the center, which are kept in a pressed state to the check shaft 21. AC voltage is applied to connect a piezoelectric actuator 36 that oscillates in a direction orthogonal to the displacement direction of the check shaft 21 to the inner case 33. The oscillation of the piezoelectric actuator 36 provides friction reducing effects.
