Abstract:

To provide a stopper for a snowboard excellent in durability, which brings out a function as a stopper when boots are removed against the binding in the same manner with the stopper of a ski and releases the stopper function in the state where the boots are fixed to the binding.

This stopper device A is constituted of a base body (a) which can be fitted to a board 1 or a binding 2 fixed to the board 1, a cylinder 3 and a verticaly movable piston rod 4 against the cylinder 3. When the base body (a) is fixed to the board 1 or the binding 2, the piston rod 4 of the stopper device A is constituted so that it can be fixed so as to move down to the lower side of the board 1. An actuating device B vertically moving the piston rod 4 of the stopper device A is provided in the base body (a).
