To provide a stopper capable of sufficiently suppressing the action and deformation of a fork mounted to the lower end of a shock absorber and not encouraging the welding distortion and oxidation of operation oil in the shock absorber.

The stopper 1 for restricting the movement of the fork 3 by being abutted on a fitting part 3a in the two-forked fork 3 connected to an arm of a suspension of the vehicle while having the cylindrical fitting part 3a mounted to the outer periphery of a lower end B in the shock absorber 2 and fitted to the lower end B is provided with a body 1a curved along the outer periphery of the lower end B and welded to the outer periphery of the lower end B; and a pair of extension parts 1b extending from both ends in the circumferential direction of the body 1a, extending along the outer periphery of the lower end B and having an axial length set to shorter a length than the body 1a. The body 1a and the lower end of each extension part 1b are made to flush with each other and abutted on the upper end of the fitting part of the fork, and upper ends of the respective extension parts 1b are welded to the outer periphery of the lower end B.
