PURPOSE: To eliminate a need for a temporary storage means by a method wherein, after the measurement of a measuring means has been completed, a storage control means stores result data and present date-and-time data in a storage means.

CONSTITUTION: When the measurement of a pulse has been completed or when it can be regarded as have been completed after the elapse of a prescribed time, a control part 7 stores a pulse rate in a pulse-rate register in a RAM 9, and the pulse rate is displayed on a display part 13. Then, present date-and-time data which is stored in a clock register in the RAM 9 is read out, and the present date-and-time data is stored in a position corresponding to the storage position of the number of measured pulses. Thereby, a present date-and-time is stored in a measured date-and-time register in the RAM 9. In addition, the number of measured pulses and the present date and time in the pulse-rate register and the present date-and-time register are displayed on the display part 13. In this manner, the number of measured pulses covering several measurements and their measured date and time are displayed in parallel on the display part 13. Thereby, a temporary storage means for each data is not required, and the processing operation of the title apparatus can be performed at high speed.
