To releave the shock in closing a lid by mounting an air bag having a restoration force between a plate part fitted by a hinge and a surface having a storage port to apply the brake to the closing operation of the plate part.
One end of a lid 1 is mounted on an upper side surface having a storage port 4 of a storage container 2 through a hinge 3. An elliptical air bag 5 having a first air hole in each end is mounted close to a hinge 3 on a lower surface of the lid 1 in the posture where its longitudinal direction is horizontal. The air bag 5 is set so as to be brought into contact with the upper surface of the storage container 2 when the lid 1 is closed, and the lid is inclined to the prescribed angle to absorb the closing force of the lid 1 by the compression of the air bag. The air bag 5 is formed of the material with the restoration force, and the lid 1 is returned to the original position through inflation. The size of the first air hole is set taking into consideration the weight and dimensions of the lid 1, the size of the air bag 5, the setting position, the restoration force, etc.
