Abstract:
To determine whether the charge control of a storage battery is appropriate on the basis of electricity rate information.
A HEMS 30 acquires a rate plan stipulating different electricity rates depending on time zone from an information center 80, sets the acquired rate plan, and sets a scheduled charge time at which a set storage battery 90 is charged. Furthermore, the HEMS 30 checks the scheduled charge time thus set to see if it overlaps a time zone whose electricity rate in the rate plan is high. If the scheduled charge time overlaps a time zone whose electricity rate in the rate plan is high, the HEMS 30 determines that the scheduled charge time is erroneously set.
