Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery system capable of ensuring the reliability of a power connector and thus the reliability of the storage battery system while satisfying a request of large power supply.SOLUTION: The storage battery system includes: a pair of power terminals each stored in a connector housing; a temperature detection element which is stored in at least the connector housings being thermally connected with corresponding power terminal for detecting the temperature of the power terminal and outputs a temperature detection signal; and a battery unit which includes plural battery cells each of which is chargeable and dischargeable and is connected across a pair of power terminals therebetween. A monitor control unit controls the power supply via the power terminal and outputs a shut-off control signal based on the temperature detection signal. With this, a shut-off circuit connected to the battery unit in series electrically shuts off the battery unit from the power supply line via the power terminal accompanying the input a shut-off control signal.
